Bangkok Airport Information
Bangkok International Airport (BKK) is located 25 kilometres north of the city of Bangkok. It serves the city and the areas around it and acts as a hub for Thailand and other parts of South-East Asia.

Bangkok International Airport offers a complex of three terminals to the traveller: International Passenger Terminal 1, International Passenger Terminal 2 and the Domestic Passenger Terminal. The International Terminals are built side by side. The Domestic Terminal is 500 metres from Terminal 2 and is connected by an air-conditioned walkway and a free-to-user bus shuttle.

Bangkok International Airport has car rental services available in International Passenger Terminals 1 and 2 and in the Domestic Passenger Terminal.

The car parks at Bangkok International Airport provide space for more than 5000 cars. There are two principal areas: the Bangkok International Airport office building, with car parks on the basement, ground floor and 2nd floor levels and a dedicated seven-storey parking building.

Getting Around Bangkok
For travelling around Bangkok centre, choose either standard, air-conditioned taxis or tuk-tuks, fast-moving, three-wheeled open taxis, rather than opting to drive through the busy streets. Bangkok's mass transit system (BTS) offers two main lines: the Sukhumvit Line, with 17 stations along its 17-kilometre length, and the Silom Line, with seven stations along its 6.5-kilometre run. Water taxis are a fun way to travel up the main Chao Phraya River.
